- Consult with key business leaders on employee skill gaps and identify appropriate training solutions.
- Establish technical training “academy” for skilled trades staff in electrical, metal fabrication, carpentry, and casting/paint in keeping with established skills assessments—ensure ongoing update of assessments.
- Identify requirements for construction of technical training physical space and collaborate with facilities management.
- Conduct annual company-wide training needs analysis and work with administrator for the State training grant—ensure MXS achieves 90% utilization of grant. Manage company-wide training calendar and programs.
- Deploy and ensure utilization of MXS’ new learning management system (Cypherworx). Maintain data on employee certifications, renewals, and completed training. Develop and deploy online content as needed.
- Manage employee engagement annual survey including interpreting data and working with the business on annual action plans. Monitor progress and measure impact and improvement.
- Develop a robust font-line leadership program with explicit links to MXS’ core values and safety culture.
- Develop and manage the quarterly and annual employee recognition program.
- Manage the employee service award awards program.
- Supervise on-site technical trainers and junior training staff.
- Lead special projects, conduct research, and analyze programs as requested.
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
