JOB SUMMARY: 
The JE is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This position is also responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems, as well as providing technical advice and guidance to other team members. 
 
The hours for this position are: Monday - Friday 5:00am - 1:30pm. Overtime is available but not mandatory.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Install, maintain, & repair electrical systems & equipment. 
  • Troubleshoot & diagnose electrical problems. 
  • Provide technical advice & guidance to other electricians. 
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams. 
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures. 
  • Adhere to all local and national electrical codes. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 
 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
Work Experience:  5+ years of experience in the electrical field. 
Education: Highschool diploma/ GED or equivalent. JE license required 
Related Experience: 
  •  Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks; keep up in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Coach and train team members on technical issues 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools 
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT: 
While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights.  When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and earplugs may be used as necessary.
